The staff are wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond the norm to make sure the guest experience is supreme. For instance, they unexpectedly gave us more surprises than we could have imagined: bunny dolls for our 2 girls, cold chocolate drinks and a special salsa tasting from the Chef Juan Jose at Balta, their 12th floor restaurant. This special culinary treat was thoughtfully organized by 2 of their wonderful star staff Gina and Sofia. They radiate and exude the friendly warmth of the best of Mexican hospitality. According to my 9 year old, this hotel is "not a 5 star hotel, it's a million star!" Other highlights include: indoor swimming pool, high rise balcony bar, close proximity to the US embassy, parks, museums, vibrant restaurants.

Our stay at the Sofitel Mexico City Reforma was a delight! I have never experienced better service at a hotel. We were unsure of our plans, too we booked the room rather late and didn't really have a good plan for our time while in Mexico City. I reached out to the concierge staff (Gustavo, Claudia, & Maximillano), who helped me craft and itinerary for the week that included so many wonderful experiences in the city (museums, restaurants, destinations, transportation) and set us up with an extraordinary city tour guide (César) for the week. We sprung for the upgrade to have access to Club Millésime and have zero regrets about it. What a delightful spot (with a great view) to have breakfast every morning and staffed with the friendliest people I've encountered in a hotel situation. We were in town to see the last night of Madonna's Celebration tour, and the Club staff actually made a Madonna collage frame for us as a way to commemorate our experience. I've never had hotel staff craft for me before. We're so grateful to Natalia, Laura, Fernanda, and Armando for starting each of our days with a smile. The rooftop bar, Cityzen, is a great space for drinks and small bites with a beautiful view of the city. We'll definitely stay at Sofitel again when we come back to Mexico City.

Service Perfection by Frida

My day started off at the Balta, which is usually perfect, but today was not so great. But after leaving and traveling upstairs to Club Millésime, my day was drastically changed for the better. I was greeted by the best worker, Frida. Frida heard my concerns and turned everything right side up again. The service was immaculate, as she always provides. Frida has been an insurmountable addition to my trip. She always has a great attitude and you can always expect service of perfection when it comes to her. Best all around and if I could rate this more than a 5/5, I would. Great job and thank you for all of your hard work, Frida!!

Balta breakfast is something I looked forward to every day of my trip. Truly outstanding! Sara at the quesadilla bar was incredible. Overall, the service and and food was outstanding.

José Silvestre was very kind and pending all the time about everything 5 starts to Jose thank you so much for everything you helped us, amazing service , always with great attitude and besides very gentle with all the people that was at the restaurant
